Backup Service

Our new backup service is intended for you to be able to know that a copy of your files is safe in two separate locations. This is a simple (and therefore cheap) service that allows you to request for us to download a copy of a file that you specify to be stored for you.

How it works

You sign up to the backup service and pay for the amount of room that you will have. Then when you want a backup stored, you create a file or archive and specify that for a customer support representative to download. You are then emailed when it has been successfully stored in 2 separate locations. When you want to retrieve a file, it will be uploaded to your hosting area in the location you specify by a customer support representative or will be made available for you to download online.

Please note the following:

• This is not an online file upload system - it is storage off-line on external hard-drives. Access to the files is only allowed to Customer Support representatives for security purposes and files will be provided on request.
• The time taken for you to receive the confirmation email will usually not take longer than one working day, however this can vary depending upon circumstances such as file size.
• We will download the files that you specify and it is up to you to ensure that these files are exactly what you think they are - we will accept no responsibility for the contents placed in an archive by you
• If you do not have enough room left of storage then we may not download the file, but will contact you first.
• If you want to know what you have left in your backups you can find out online - either through contacting support or through the webWHAK member area.
• We reserve the right to reject any file requested for download if we deem necessary
